Jump Cut Images, Inc. was founded by Josef Rusnak in 1992 in Los Angeles, CA, developing and producing feature films, documentaries, as well as commercials. Over the years, JCI has built strong relationships with a wide range of creative talent and established a sustainable network between Berlin and Los Angeles.

JCI is currently run by Josef Rusnak and his long-time creative partner, Sabine Wabnitz, whom he married in a private ceremony held in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles in spring 2024.
